There are two methods of connecting to a WiFi Network:
Method 1
From the Task bar
- From the bottom right hand corner of the Task bar, locate the Globe Icon (this only appears if your device is not connected to a network)
- Select the Globe Icon to open up a list of available networks (if having trouble locating this icon - follow Method 2)
- Select the preferred Wi-Fi network and then select Connect (enter the password or credentials as required)
- Once the connection is successful, it will show as Connected underneath the Wi-Fi name
- The icon in the bottom right hand corner on the taskbar will have now changed from the Globe Icon to a Signal Icon
Method 2
From Settings
- Open the Start Menu
- Select the Settings Cog on the left hand side panel
- Select Network & Internet
- Select Wi-Fi, then select Show available networks
- Select the preferred Wi-Fi network to connect to from the list
