There are two methods you can follow to Activate Airplane mode on your device:

Method 1

From Settings

1. Open the Start Menu and select the Settings Cog  on the left hand panel

   

2. Select Network & Internet 

   

3. Select Airplane mode, then select the toggle under Airplane mode to turn it on (when the toggle is blue, this indicates it's turned on; when it's grey, this indicates it's turned off) 

   

Method 2

From the Action Center

1. Select Action Center  in the bottom right hand corner of the Task bar 

   

2. Airplane mode is turned on if the square  is showing blue, Airplane mode is turned off if the square is grey, select the square to turn it on
