How to turn off Mobile data

When you are in a WiFi zone or do not need to use network & internet, you can turn off mobile data to limit your usage

1. Pull down from the top of the screen to the bottom
   
   
   
2. Pull down from the top of the screen to the bottom again to reveal more settings
   
   
   
3. Select Mobile data to turn off 
   

Monitor your data usage

Your device records how much data you use and which apps use most of your data.

1. Swipe up from the middle of the screen to display all apps
   
   
   
2. Open the Settings app
   
3. Select Connections
   
   
   
4. Select Data usage
   
   
   
5. Select Mobile data usage
   
   
   
6. All app usage can be monitored to view exact data usage
   

How to use your Data Saver

Data Saver helps you reduce data usage by preventing some apps from sending or receiving data in the background. An app you're currently using can access data but may do so less frequently. This may mean, for example, that images don't display until you tap them. 

1. Swipe up from the home screen to display all apps
   
   
   
2. Open the Settings app
   
   
   
3. Select Connections
   
   
   
4. Select Data usage
   
   
   
5. Select Data saver
   
   
   
6. Select toggle to turn on
   

Setting a mobile data warning

You can receive notifications upon reaching the specified data usage level that you set for the month. This is just a warning notification for you to track your usage and will not interfere with your actual usage or your data plan with your provider.

1. Swipe up from the home screen to display all apps
   
   
   
2. Open the Settings app
   
   
   
3. Select Connections
   
4. Select Data usage
   
   
   
5. Select Billing cycle and data warning
   
   
   
6. Select Data warning
   
   
   
7. Enter your desired warning level then select Set
   Note: This will let you know once your data reaches this set level
   

Setting a mobile data limit

You can set a data limit to automatically turn off mobile data once it reaches the limit you set. However, since data usage is measured by your phone, and your carrier may account for usage differently, consider setting a conservative limit.

1. Swipe up from the home screen to display all apps
   
   
   
2. Open the Settings app
   
   
   
3. Select Connections
   
   
   
4. Select Data usage
   
   
   
5. Select Billing cycle and data warning
   
   
   
6. Select Data warning
   
   
   
7. Enter your desired limit then select Set
   Note: You data will only work until you reach this set limit
