What is Lookout for Work?
Lookout for Work provides persistent, on-device protection for mobile devices and the information the devices access similar to next generation endpoint protection (EPP) solution’s on traditional endpoints.

Why does Lookout for Work need access to...
Media:
Requires access to the device storage areas to detect and prevent malicious malware from harming your device, Also to provide a backup
WiFi/Networks:
Requires these details to protect your device from sophisticated network attacks including nearby known WiFi risks.
Location:
When you ask Lookout to locate your phone, it will access GPS and wireless networks to get the best possible location for your phone. Remember that Lookout only accesses your location when it is asked to locate it from Lookout.com.
Identity:
Lookout needs access to your account information for two reasons: 1. To make the Lookout sign-up process as smooth and easy as possible and 2. If your device is ever lost or stolen and you decide to remotely lock and wipe all of your data from your device, Lookout can delete any important account information remotely.
Q: How do I setup Lookout for Work on my device?
Please refer to Activate Lookout for Work.
A: You will see a screen that says: "No issues found" and a green bar at the top of the screen that says "Tap on the menu to learn more about your privacy"

Q: Does Lookout for Work scan my private apps?
A: No currently Lookout for Work only scans apps in the Work Profile, it is possible to also scan personal apps but this is not something we support currently.
Q: Does Lookout for Work watch what I search on the internet?
A: No, Lookout for Work on checks certificates of websites against an internal database, we do not check what you are viewing. Also this only scans Websites visited in work profile browsers
Q: What do I do if Lookout for Work warns me an App is dangerous?
A: You must uninstall the aforementioned app immediately, if you do not we will get get in touch to warn you to remove the app, and if you still do not remove the app then you will lose access to work data on your device until it has been uninstalled. If you believe the app is not dangerous please contact your administrator to discuss the issue further.

A: Leave that website immediately, Lookout for Work will only warn you about a website if it is malicious. If you receive a warning about a website you believe is legitimate please contact your administrator immediately so this issue can be looked into.
Q: What to do if Lookout for Work warns me about a Network I am connected to?
A: Disconnect from that Network immediately, Lookout will have detected that something is not right with the network and it could be a threat to your device, if you believe this to be a trusted network please contact your administrator so the issue can be looked into.
