The background of your video can be blurred or completely changed to increase privacy during video calls. 

Note: This can only be changed during scheduled meetings

Before joining a call 

1. Turn camera toggle on
2. Toggle background effects on
    
3. Select preferred background 
   
4. Select Join now

During a call

1. Select the ellipsis (...) icon
   
   
   
2. Select Show background effects
   
   
   
3. Select background option then select Apply (You can also select Preview then select Apply and turn on video)
   
   

How to add custom image/background - Windows

1. Open File Explorer
   
   
2. Search %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds\Uploads
   
   
3. Copy and paste or drag an image into the file
   
4. This image will now be available as a background during a Teams Meeting
