When opening files, if they are opening in a different application then you would prefer, e.g PDF documents opening in Edge instead of Adobe, you can update your preferences within Windows settings.
- From the task bar, select the Start/Windows
button - Select Settings
- Select Apps
- Select Default apps
- Select Choose default applications by file type
- Find the relevant file type in the left list, e.g .pdf
- Select the current assigned application or Choose a default as required
- Select your desired application
- Completed
